On Friday, November, 16th, over 100 members were initiated, and the following day the chapter was officially reinstalled. The Chartering banquet welcomed guests such as Tom Olsen, Director of Growth of Pi Kappa Alpha as well as the fraternity's International President Kevin Knaus. [ Read Full ]   Pike hosts Playboy  -Oct 06, 2007 11:06 pm- Playboy came to Columbia to promote their new energy drink: "Playboy Energy," and Pike was chosen among all other organizations in the area to host them. Playboy was able to enjoy Pike's tailgating experience during the Kentucky football game, the Playboy Energy girls brought their promotional bus along with cases of their new energy drink which was given out for free. Thanks to Playboy and all of the alumni that were able to attend.   Homecoming Champions!  -Oct 06, 2007 10:50 pm- After being on campus for under a year, and competing in homecoming for the first time, the Xi Colony was declared homecoming champions! Xi Colony along with Delta Zeta sorority competed against many other fraternities and sororities and managed to come out on top. Pike and DZ were announced the winners in Williams-Brice Stadium at halftime during the Mississippi State football game among over 80,000 viewers. Thanks to Delta Zeta sorority and all the members that participated.   Pike welcomes 34 man fall pledge class!  -Sep 18, 2007 4:52 pm- After being a colony for just under a year, Xi Colony has managed to obtain a 34 man fall pledge class in their first time participating in formal rush. Not only was this the largest pledge class of any fraternity this fall, but Pike is now among the largest of all fraternities on campus. The Xi colony will continue to rush quality men right up until the date of their charter which is tentatively scheduled for November 2007.   Pike DreamGirl Formal 2007  -Apr 16, 2007 5:21 pm- Pike held it first DreamGirl Formal on April 13th at the Dunes Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The brothers and their dates enjoyed dinner and live entertainment at the prestigious Dunes Club. The couples danced through the night with a picturesque view of the beach in the background   Carolina Cup  -Apr 16, 2007 5:15 pm- Pike attended Carolina Cup this year for the first time. The brothers dressed up in their finest clothing consisting of seersuckers and bow ties while they enjoyed a leisurely afternoon watching horse races and eating barbecue. This event had a large turnout, and hopefully it will be even better next year.
